It's very helpful to have material which so aptly supports the work of our own staff

Partnership activity for schools, colleges and youth clubs with external organisations is garnering increasing support from teachers, youth workers and parents alike. TenNine seeks to add value not only to brands and social causes, but also to school and college life, the taught curriculum and young people’s social hours.
Valued additional resources can be achieved by schools and youth clubs from activity that may aid and facilitate the work of PSHE coordinators and youth workers. For external partners, involvement can be an important part of their work in the community.
Given the potential benefits, government business and other potential partners are keen to encourage this activity within “Best Practice Principles for Commercial Activities in Schools” developed by ISBA and the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF). As an ethically based company TenNine’s Partnership Rules embrace these best practice principles and the company has extended their reach to also cover our youth club scheme.
Ten Rules for Successful School, College and Youth Club Marketing:
1) All advertising and marketing activity should provide demonstrable benefit to participating schools, colleges and youth clubs.
2) Schools, colleges and youth clubs should always have the option to opt out of any activities.
3) Activity should respect diversity of gender, race, disability and cultural issues and reflect contemporary UK society.
4) There should be no incentive to children to engage in unhealthy, unsafe or unlawful activities.
5) Any branding should be appropriate to the activity.
6) Where possible, permission should be sought from schools, colleges or youth clubs before materials are forwarded to them.
7) Schools, colleges and youth clubs should be made aware of the purpose and objectives, either social or commercial, of any marketing activity.
8) Any expression of opinion should be clearly distinguished from statement of fact.
9) Where possible activity should be developed in partnership with teachers, pupils, parents, educationalists and youth workers.
10) Activity should be resonant with the aims of the institutions involved and should recognise the precious relationship between young people, family, school, college or youth club.
